Barbeq... my offer is 5btc for 1mio csc. Just let me know. Thanks

He's probably not looking to sell them If he was motivated to sell them, he'd take them to an exchange like everyone else. This smells like he's offering them for sale in a manner that is least likeley to result in a successful sale in order to contribute to a spurious act of trolling prypto/DWS.

Putting 1m coins in an exchange is risky for the reasons well known.  And how is pointing out the challenges of Prypto/DWS "trolling". It is far safer to arrange a private sale for the whole lot.

Storing your coins in an exchange is risky. Putting them up for sale on an exchange for a short period is far less riskier than conducting private transactions with strangers. How were you planning to transfer 100k blocks of csc to a buyer? Nobody will send you a bitcoin and hope you will actually send them CSC. You would have to involve a third party that you both trust to mediate the transaction. Ask other people on this board if they think a private sale is safe than using an exchange.

As for trolling, maybe that's not the right description. Maybe spreading FUD is more accurate.

Putting 1million coins into the exchanges and ask for 10btc will put a lot of pressure onto the csc exchange rate. Not sure if thats we need here... Doing a private deal could be a solution...

An exchange can absorb that. There are people that would buy it for that price.

Goldseal, you are of course right. But together with the lack of good news I doubt the exchanges would cope with that 1million sale... Just my opinion.

This was the kind of press release I liked to see in the main press .... I do not know if it costs a lot of money these ads, but I like the impact of them.

Goldseal, you are of course right. But together with the lack of good news I doubt the exchanges would cope with that 1million sale... Just my opinion.

Selling 1 mil for 1000 sat is a bit dumb. Trying to accumulate 1 mil coins would cost far more than 1000. At this point, all the trading below 3000 is pretty much fake or dust swapping.

IMHO he's just threatening to sell because he either wants to push the price down or he thinks it will help him put pressure on prypto/dws in some way. Possibly, the 20% price decline we had on cryptopia could be people factoring in that he may dump these into the exchange. However, that's a bit silly since you would get early warning if you see him move his coins.

BTW, we need to get a hold of rudy. His block explorer is showing an internal server error.

Speculating on what someone wants to do with their property and labeling them like so is not helping anyone. I have completely lost respect for you in that regard alone.

However I will encourage you to leave him/her/it to whatever they want to do with their own property. That is the beauty of this tech. It allows people to do what they want, when they want it, how they want to. Encouraging someone to put a decentralized currency on a centralized exchange is never the best idea and should be avoided whenever possible, no matter how convenient it is. Its still not worth taking someones choice away and labeling them "dumb". Furthermore i would encourage barbeq to make thier own thread in a more apropiate section of the forum and link to it here. It is a announcment thread for the community focused on CasinCoin after all.

Are you stoned?

1. an exchange is a far safer way to trade in the absence of trusted escrow. there's  a big difference between using an exchange as a wallet and using it to sell something.
2. i don't care what he does with his own property
3. How does threatening to sell privately and posting messages accusing prypto/dws of bad management because a recent PR wasn't good enough for him, help anyone? How does he know if they are badly managed? Is he workign diretcly with them or posisbly employed by them? It doesn't sound like it. This kind of behavior is why you'll find that good community participants like GC or even Ajochems are willing to write you guys off and ignore these message boards for long periods of time while they go work on their projects quietly. You guys treat them poorly and the majority of you do nothing to contribute.
4. I did not call him dumb. I said: "Selling 1 mil for 1000 sat is a bit dumb." This is much different from "Barbeq is dumb." However, thanks for trying to stuff some words in my mouth.
5. Why would he need his own thread? What would that accomplish? Are you asking him to make a thread to organize selling his coins? If that's the case, do you feel him posting on this thread was inappropriate?

1) "Encouraging someone to put a decentralized currency on a centralized exchange is never the best idea and should be avoided whenever possible, no matter how convenient it is."

2)It does not come across as such.

3)Feedback helps far more then you seem to comprehend, clearly. Its how you handled it, that is my concern. Slapping a FUD label and crap on it is childish and not becoming of you. Although its clear to me now how dense you really are.

4) You clearly labeled his choice dumb. The mere fact that you are distorting all of these points into some kind of weird reality of yours is actually starting to disturb me. I'm now wondering why i'm even wasting my time replying.

5) Gawd!!! how on earth have you been here so long and still so thick. You do realise that we all used to trade crypto on google docs, blogs, bulletin boards and forums before there were even exchanges? Quite safely mind you! Its important that he makes his own thread and announces it here to keep this topic on point and to its purpose. A announcement thread which i am now currently trashing myself to make said point! It actually gains more exposure for both his cause and this project. why on earth is that a bad idea to you is baffling me.

Sorry Goldseal but i really don't wish to converse with you anymore. I feel like i'm in the twilight zone here. Anyone else wish to chime in?

You going to cry too? I can give you a tissue. I don't even want to waste the time it would take to respond to you. I think you've shown everyone here what's going on in your head and I'll say it's worth quoting so it's recorded in the event you try to rewrite or delete it.

Have a good weekend.

Can a couple of you do me a favor and confirm the that this code is working. (install it on your dev environment and see that it is functional. It will take like 10 minutes)

https://github.com/CartmanSPC/p2pool

Its xpool.net code, one of your pools. I dare say casinocoins only p2pool node.
I have tried contacting the author of that repo and pool but to no avail just yet.

p2pool nodes are important and i would like to see more p2pool nodes up please.

Also whoever is in charge of updating the op and website. Could you bring all your links into december 2016 thanks. (some sites are non existant even)

Hi there! Sorry for the delayed response. I am not actively involved in anything crypto these days. Everything I've done is in maintenance mode at this point but yes, the code is working.

As far as your question about it connecting to the daemon...make sure there are available connections available. Try stopping the daemon for a bit then starting it back up. Also make sure you are using the right ports (--bitcoind-rpc-port 47970 --bitcoind-p2p-port 47950).

Seeing that multipool spike the network many times (other alts in the past), as I was mining on the P2Pool & auto switched to Hash to Cash when the price jump happen. Hash to Cash even shows on their main page,

Diff     Net              Pool    Time est.    Progress %    LTC profit%    BTC/Gh
      6.36    372.1 Mh/s    9.1 Mh/s     47m 43s    176%    104%            0.0351),

xpool also shows the spikes if you change the chart scale from Days to Months & why the P2Pool needs more dedicated miners.

//still remember the days of mining pools & the big 51% info charts of BTC

how about the apple mobile app? any news on that one?
from the bahams scrypt it says:

....The solution is a closed loop system so only open to those who are authorized to use the platform, all transactions can be traced, audited and related to a user who has gone through KYC, merchants and who generated the voucher.

The platform utilizes the CSC Blockchain to ensure that transactions are fast, secure and not exposed to fraud.

The application holds a balance of CSC that are recycled for usage, if any more are required then they will be obtained via public exchanges.

https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/Exchange?market=CSC_BTC

https://alcurex.com/#CSC-BTC....

My question, how many coins be the balance reserved for the casinos? Once more coins are required, they need to buy in the open market right?? Why dont you guys believe in that, that if there is a shortage of coins for that balance for the casinos, they need to buy in the open market?

Any news on the possible participating casinos and the promised miners?

Thanks

Its not to say that in time, companies will have to purchase their own csc to use in this system. I don't know about "running out of coins" just yet.
