May switch to sgminer because i heard it's giving 10% more hashrate.

My 6x480 rigs are giving me less hashrare in sgminer as compared to Claymore using the default settings:

Code:
"name": "eth",
"algorithm": "ethash",
"xintensity": "1024",
"worksize": "192"
"gpu-threads": "1"

Care to share some optimized settings?

You need to put the number of shaders.

I have 6 Rx 470 4Gb GPUs, 3 are MSI and 3 are ASUS.

Currently I have them all at the same settings in Afterburner. 1130 core, 1950 Memory -15% Power Limit -12 core mV

With those settings I have a wide range of of Mhash. My best is 24, 4 of them are ~21, and the worst is 18 m/h.

I'd like to be getting 24 or more with all 6 if possible. What steps do I need to take to get better results with these GPUs? I don't want to mod the Bios at this point, but from what I read online I should expect better h/s then what I am getting. The temperatures are all ok, the GPU that gets 24 m/hs runs in the upper 70sC and the others are as low as 53C. They are all set to run at a fixed 60% fan speed.

Windows 10 6dbit
16.12.2 AMD drivers
Using NiceHash GUI and Claymore's Dual Eth+DCR Miner
Biostar TB85 with 6 USB powered risers
Open frame case
EVGA 1300 watt PSU
SSD
4GB RAM
i3 CPU (I use the rig to stream to my TV hence the better CPU).

Any thoughts?

I've had lots of problems using --cclock and --mclock options. I'm currently using WattTool to adjust the settings and the miner now runs perfectly stable.

Hi.
have 2 RX480 Nitro+ 8GB OC
If i use one Card will get about  30MHs
If i use both Cards will get about 28 MHs per Card

Why???

My other Problem:

Conf:
-tt 60
-cclock 1050
-mclock 2200

one Card starts with these Settings and the other one blocks.
When i delete -cclock 1050 both card starts.
But if i set cclock with Trixx 3.0 also both Card starts

Any Idea?

Thanks.
But now i use simpleminer Image. Works fine With 60 MHs

You need to put the number of shaders.

Are you serious?

Can you give an example?

Do you see any visual error on screen? Maybe you can try trigger Startup Settings > Disable Automatic Restart on Error and see the error text.

I'd recommend testing each card and slot individually to identify the issue. Could be driver, bios, undervolt, riser or socket problem.

I've had a gpu didn't work with a specific bios and that was causing restarts with "thread stuck in device driver" message. I've finally fixed that with modifying bios manually. It seems like it didn't want to work with Jukebox or Anorak bioses.

Hi,
Thanks for the reply. I did manage to run it aftes reinstalling windows 8, then upgrate to 10 and update the drivers. My rig is working on 145 mgh with rx470 4gb saphire and samsung memory on factor settings. I will try flash and undervolt tomorrow.
Thanks!

Error occurred somewhere before your piece of log.

Please read Readme and FAQ in the first post of this thread before asking any questions, probably the answer is already there.

Update:
In 1-3 days I will release new version with asm kernels, currently for ETH and ETH+DCR only, a bit later other coins will be moved to asm too.
For ETH-only mode I added optional fine-tuning mode that allows to get 1-2% more speed in some cases, also power usage must be less a bit (need to test it more).
For dual mode I managed to get up to 50% speedup for DCR without losing ETH speed. Of course power usage in this mode will be higher.

Hello. I need help with configuration of my rig. I have 3x RX 480 4GB and 1 RX 470 4GB. My rx 480 card have 24.7 speed, while RX 470 have 20.7. reading this post i see that it should do much better than that. I didnt overclock my card, and i use standard configuration that we get when we download Claymore miner. Can any1 help me and send me best configuration for my bat file? Thanks in advance. Btw my drivers are crimson 17.3.3.

It seems most speedup from fine-tuning mode will get Fury Nano. Stock Nano, ETH-only mode: 27.2 -> 29.2MH/s.

The R9 nano used to be much slower than the RX 480, now it can catch up a bit.

Currently mining on http://musicoin.nomnom.technology
the pool has paid out once and now I'm getting nothing. I see all my coins sat on pending. Been like that for hours.

I more thing if I try to enter my rig name in the bat file I get the error invalid login. So at the moment I'm mining with just the wallet address.
