FORGET having to fork out thousands for a new kitchen, as a woman has revealed how she achieved incredible results for just £90.
The savvy homeowner shared on Facebook how she transformed her dark kitchen into a bright, modern space on a budget.
Taking to the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group, she wrote: “My diy kitchen makeover.
“I moved in back in August and finally managed to get this done by doing little bits at a time!
“Main aim was to brighten it up and I’m so happy with it.
“Total cost was £90ish thanks to everyone’s else’s diy posts on this group. Thank you for all the lovely comments.”
Helpfully, she broke down exactly where the £90 went, so other people could also spruce up their own kitchens without spending a fortune.
She turned her black worktops into chic wooden counters, using self-adhesive film from B&M which cost £8.99 for a roll.
The woman then spruced up the tiles using £17.99 Dulux Tile Paint in the shade Jade White, before using £15 Rustoleum furniture paint on the cupboards.
Her handles were £22 from Amazon, and the bar pulls were £15 for a pack of 10.
She finished off the look with a £29.99 light fitting from The Range and a £19.99 rose gold knife set from B&M.
Unsurprisingly, her DIY kitchen has seriously impressed Facebook users, and racked up over 2,700 likes.
One person wrote: “What a transformation, looks absolutely fabulous. We purchased a new kitchen only 7 months ago, if I had seen results like this earlier and what you can achieve painting.”
Another added: “I dont believe that kitchen cost so little ! Its beautiful hun well done!”
