WE'VE all put off cleaning the microwave because we know it'll take a lot of scrubbing to get it looking half-decent.
However, one mum has revealed her handy hack for getting the surfaces sparkling in minutes - and with minimum effort required.
Posting on her TikTok account @mama_mila, she shared a video captioned: "No more scrubbing."
In the clip - viewed more than 15,000 times - the savvy mum demonstrated how she begins by mixing a cup of water with one teaspoon of dishwasher detergent in a glass jug.
She then gives it a quick stir with a spoon until it is fully dissolved, before placing it in on the microwave turntable.
Next, the social media user sets it to heat for four minutes.
The woman then allows it to sit for another four minutes before opening the microwave door.
She then advised: "Gently wipe the microwave and watch the grime slide off.
"The steam environment softens all the stubborn baked-on foods and makes it very easy to clean."
Her post went down well with fellow users who left more than 700 'likes'.
One person wrote: "Wow thank you!"
It comes after Mrs Hinch shared the easy way she cleans up food splatters using oven liners.
Posting on her Instagram Story, the social media star, who real name is Sophie Hinchcliffe, told her 3.2m fans how she has a 'combi oven' in her new kitchen that features both a microwave and oven.
