Mike Tyson tells Tyson Fury to ‘stay the f*** away from normal… he’s the greatest because he is sick’

BOXING legend Mike Tyson has told WBC heavyweight champ Tyson Fury to "stay the f*** away from normal" as that's what makes him "the greatest".

Both fighters gave an emotional interview to Ring Magazine where they talked about each other in and out of the ring.

Fury, well known for his outspoken nature and flamboyance, has also dealt with severe depression and alcohol and drug addiction.

He has shockingly revealed he considered killing himself by driving his Ferrari off a bridge in the summer of 2016.

That came just months after his stunning points win against Wladimir Klitschko to become unified heavyweight champ.

But the Gypsy King completed the most stunning of sporting comebacks when he handed Deontay Wilder his first ever defeat by stopping the American in the seventh round of their rematch in February.

It was a victory that had his hero Mike Tyson out of his seat celebrating wildly at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

And the man known as Iron Mike has paid his own tribute to the WBC king, and told him to carry on doing what he does.

The 53-year-old, who is rumoured to be making his own comeback into boxing, told Ring Magazine: "With Tyson, if he didn’t go through everything he’s been through, he wouldn’t be the person that he is today.

"The mental health issues? That’s why he’s the greatest, because he’s sick, and that’s being real.

"People want him to be normal. Yeah, be normal and go on the f***ing welfare line.

"Tyson doesn’t know what normal is. Tell him to stay the f*** away from normal; he wasn’t meant to be normal.”

Mike Tyson will only return to ring to fight bona fide boxer as 53-year-old doesn’t want to ‘insult’ the sport

Mike Tyson has been teasing a return to the sport that saw him become one of the most feared fighters of all time.

And even a fight against the present Tyson, Fury, has been suggested.

The Gypsy King's promoter Bob Arum has confirmed he'd be willing to let Iron Mike have the chance to prove he has still got it in an exhibition bout.

The boxing greats would don headgear and oversized gloves for the bout with all proceeds going to a good cause.

Arum told Deadspin:  “I would entertain the idea of Tyson Fury fighting an exhibition against [Mike] Tyson if the money was going to a legitimate charity.

“I wouldn’t finance it. I would put sweat equity into it. I think it would be good for Tyson [Fury].’’

TYSON VS TYSON SR?

And another prospective for Mike Tyson could be Tyson Fury's dad!

John Fury has said he is willing to DIE in a fight with the boxing Hall Of Famer.

In a passionate online video, Fury Snr said: "I'm looking at fighting Mike Tyson, how's that?

"Mike's making a comeback. I don't value my life to 50 pence but let me tell you something, Mike Tyson is worth doing charity with.

"He's a proper king and a champion. He's a proper man, tried and tested.

"I'll fight Mike Tyson, I know he mentions my boy's name every five minutes so here I am.

"John Fury is hiding from no man, not even the king of all men.

"Mike Tyson, I will fight Mike Tyson. Hear that then, I will not be denied, I will die in a fight.

"I am as game as an American Yankee c*** and I will die before I give in."
