Conor McGregor net worth: What is UFC star worth and how much does Notorious make from MMA bouts?

What is Conor McGregor's net worth?

The McGregor brand stretches far outside of the Octagon, where he made his name as a fearless two-weight champion.

Since making his UFC debut in 2013, the charismatic fighter from Crumlin has brought the sport into the mainstream through a combination of his talent and personality.

His fortune has been amassed by headlining pay-per-view events, with McGregor topping the UFC bill on five separate occasions.

All of that has resulted in him becoming the highest paid fighter in the sport.

In October 2019, SunSport revealed how McGregor has raked in £7.35m just from bouts alone - that's excluding sponsorship and bonuses.

That's miles ahead of Michael Bisping (£5.48m) and Georges St Pierre (£5.4m) in second and third respectively.

Outside of the UFC arena, McGregor's biggest payday came when he faced Floyd Mayweather Jr in a boxing bout in 2017.

The big money event earned Notorious a mind-blowing £100million for just one night's work - and he barely even laid a glove on the unbeaten boxing superstar.

McGregor - who was beaten in 10 rounds by the ring legend - claims he made £100m for the super-fight thanks to 4.4m PPV's and £42m made in ticket sales.

And last January, The Notorious estimated that he would earn around £63m from his first round win over Donald Cerrone, although Forbes claim the real figure was a still-substantial £24m.

His boxing cameo, sponsorships, UFC purses and new Proper 12 whiskey top up the rest of McGregor's bank balance.

Despite a number of public misdemeanours in the past couple of years - including attacking Khabib's bus and a well-publicised assault charge - McGregor's popularity continues to grow.

As of April 2020, according to Forbes, the UFC star's net worth is £38m.

McGregor will earn around £20m overall for his fight with Poirier, which includes a £3.5m purse.
