The four-year-old battled well to win over hurdles on comeback at Auteuil in March and should have no issue coping with the bigger obstacles.

Sacre Coeur was beaten just over a length on her chase debut at Toulouse 11 days ago. That will give her a fitness and experience edge over most of these, while La Bondue is a hurdles winner who has scope for jumping a fence.

CRAZY MARTA was a fair fourth on debut at Compiegne last week and that experience and fitness can make all the difference.

Lina Rez comes from a top yard that has already sent out 12 winners since racing came back. The market will speak volumes about her chances but she’ll know her job on debut.

The other two with racecourse experience look modest so the other Francois Nicolle runner Giorgina could figure. Her jockey has a high strike-rate at Dieppe so clearly rides the track well.

BORN TO HOLD has every chance of landing a hat-trick of wins. He takes a slight step up in distance here but that shouldn’t be a concern after successes at Fontainebleu and Toulouse.

Je Deviens Moi took a tumble at Compiegne 11 days ago but he landed three on the spin before that. He stays well and has more to offer if he’s over that fall.

Normandy Dela Vega is prone to errors and has failed to complete two of his past three. He is useful when getting round but has something to prove giving weight away to some fair rivals.

GUATEMALA LE DUN has been knocking on the door with back-to-back seconds. His latest effort came over fences at Toulouse and suggests he’s good enough to win a race like this.

MORGENSTERN has shown promise since switching from the Flat to hurdles. He has gone well on both starts at Compiegne with an improved effort in third 11 days ago. That fitness and experience edge should help.

Kalingrad shaped nicely when not asked too many questions at Auteuil on debut. There should be a lot more to come. The yard also runs Nobody Knows who should have been well schooled. Paros is nicely bred and is worth a market check too.

HELL BOY is proven in this Grade 3 company and had plenty in hand when scoring at Compiegne last time. He steps up in distance here but shapes like a stayer.

Edgeoy looked very rusty on comeback at Auteuil latest but has winning form at this level and sees out the trip well. He should be fitter thanks to his comeback.

1.41

FARNICE is taking a major drop in class for this return to hurdles. He has failed to complete his past two chases but they were both Grade 3s at Auteuil where he has winning form in that much higher grade. He’s a winner over the smaller obstacles so can bounce back.

Pesk Ebrel is another having his sights lowered and looks a danger at his favourite track.

2.15

DECRET has been up and down but there’s some ability there and he has winning form over this distance. This doesn’t look the strongest contest and he looks overpriced.

2.49

SHAYANDI has been in good form on the level but his hurdles form is decent too as he showed with a close-up fourth on his most recent jumps outing. This looks wide open and he can run into the places at a fair price.
