BOOM won’t bomb. Chased home Equilateral in the Fillies’ Mile here after landing the Prestige Stakes at Goodwood and going close in a hot contest at Donny. Proven stayer who goes on any ground and has place claims.

CLOAK OF SPIRITS 4

SPIRITS high. Won on debut at Ascot and finished season with close third in Group 2 Rockfel Stakes here in September. Battled well over the 7f trip and this mile should be ideal. Each-way shout.

FINAL SONG 1

SONG off key. Has been busy with a win in Meydan earlier this year but has struggled in Listed and Group races and looks outclassed at this level.

GRACEFUL MAGIC 2

MAGIC trick. Handicap winner here and close second in Group 3 company at Ayr on final start in September. Needs major improvement to figure today.

LES HOGUES 2

LES miserables. Did well in France last year, peaking with a close third in a good contest at Maisons-Laffitte over 7f in October. Has moved to George Baker over the winter and will improve over this mile but really needs to.

LOVE 4

LOVE has heart. Already has a Group 1 on her CV after winning the prestigious Moyglare Stud Stakes at The Curragh in September. She was then put in her place by Quadrilateral when third in the Fillies’ Mile. Aidan O’Brien runners always respected in English Classics but she needs more to turn that form around.

MILLISLE 5

NO trouble for Mill. Showed breathtaking turn of foot when storming home to win the Cheveley Park Stakes over 6f here in September. Powered through the line like a horse with plenty of staying power and top trainer Jessica Harrington has no stamina worries about her. That’s good enough for me.

QUADRILATERAL 4

QUAD up four it. Unbeaten in three runs and took a major step forward with a gutsy Fillies’ Mile win ahead of a few of these. Trainer Roger Charlton would have liked a warm-up but she sets a high standard on form and should progress again.

RAFFLE PRIZE 4

PRIZE prospect. Won the Queen Mary at Royal Ascot before following up with a stylish Group 2 meeting at the July meeting here. Then held her own at the highest level, chasing home Millisle in the Cheveley Park. Has live place claims.

ROMSEY 1

ALL at Sey. Listed winner who was held in an Italian Group 3 last time out in October. Hard to see her going from there to a Guineas success.

ROSE wilting. Improved to land two Group 3s in the autumn including here over 7f when battling right to the line. Should stay but doesn’t look up to this level.

SHIMMERING 3

RING bling. Potential big improver for Gosden and Dettori. She did well to win a Lingfield maiden over this trip in December. Should leave that behind and you can never write the dream team off even though this is a massive hike in class.
