Floyd Mayweather insists again he carried Conor McGregor until the 10th round in boxing clash
FLOYD MAYWEATHER has reiterated the claim that he carried Conor McGregor in their fight, letting the Irish UFC star reach the 10th round.
The Money Man barely through a punch for the first three rounds, letting McGregor look good on TV but slowly punching himself out.
In the build-up to the fight members of the Mayweather gym were tipping the Money Man to win in the 9th round.
The MMA icon was troubled in the 9th but clung on and was finally finished in the following round.
After the fight the pair were the best of buddies but The Notorious has since insisted he would win the rematch while Mayweather insists he let the fight last to make it entertaining.
In a recent Snapchat video, Mayweather said: “I’m going to tell you all the truth. You know I carried McGregor. You know I made it look good for you all.”

Mayweather has returned to retirement since the Las Vegas win, buying a £19.5m Beverly Hills house and decorating it in his typical style.
On his current trip to China – where he adopted a panda – Mayweather was burgled for sunglasses and luggage worth around £9,000.
McGregor’s career since his boxing debut has been unsettled with court appearances and rumours of a row with Dublin gangsters.
