All 15 McLaren F1 staff who were held in Australia in coronavirus quarantine free to return to UK
ALL 15 members of the McLaren F1 team, who were held in quarantine after the cancelled Australian GP, are expected home tomorrow.
The Woking-based team pulled out of the race after one team member tested positive for the coronavirus on Wednesday March 11th.

This triggered the collapse of the F1 season-opener in Melbourne after the race was eventually scrapped.
Fourteen other staff who worked in close contact with the person were placed in self-isolation in their hotels as a precaution.
However, with the two-week incubation period now elapsed, they were free to travel back to the UK.
The cancellation of the Melbourne Grand Prix was chaotic, with stars including Lewis Hamilton calling on chiefs to scrap it before it eventually was.
Meanwhile, Motorsport UK have extended their ban on racing until the start of July due to the pandemic.

The governing body have taken steps in line with the government's advice to help slow down the spread of the disease.
It means the British Touring Car Championship loses rounds at Donington, Brands Hatch, Silverstone, Thruxton and Oulton Park.
Start dates for the British GT and BRDC British Formula 3 championships have also been delayed.
