Lewis Hamilton slams people ignoring social distancing guidelines as ‘irresponsible and selfish’ in Instagram blast
LEWIS HAMILTON has blasted those ignoring social distancing during the coronavirus outbreak as "irresponsible and selfish".
The government has made it explicitly clear that people should not gather in groups and should keep two metres apart - but the message is not always getting through.

Videos have shown hundreds of people at the beach or trying to cram in to supermarkets and Hamilton, who is keeping himself well away from others, said he was "sad" to see people ignoring the rules.
He wrote on Instagram: "I'm praying for my family's safety each day but I'm also praying for you out there.
"There are people out there still going to clubs and bars and large gatherings, which I feel is totally irresponsible and selfish.
"There is nothing we can do about it either way except try to isolate ourselves, stop ourselves from catching it and spreading it.
"I'm praying for those working at the local store, deliverers, doctors and nurses who put their own health at risk to help others and keep the countries running.
"Those are the heroes. Please stay safe, people."
Last week, Hamilton dismissed speculation that he has contracted the deadly virus, insisting he was feeling fit and healthy.
Speculation grew after the F1 star attended an event in London along with British actor Idris Elba and Sophie Gregoire Trudeau, the wife of the Canadian Prime Minister, who both tested positive for Covid-19.
The 35-year-old said he was feeling no symptoms of the disease that has swept across the globe.

He said: "There's been some speculation about my health, after I was at an event where two people later tested positive for coronavirus.
"I wanted to let you know that I'm doing well, feeling healthy and working out twice a day.
"I have zero symptoms, and it's now been 17 days since I saw Sophie and Idris. I have been in touch with Idris and happy to hear he is OK."
