The remote UK properties you can rent for all the family post-lockdown from £16 a night
A HOLIDAY is all that Brits are thinking about right now, with trips abroad left in tatters.
Thankfully there are still some beautiful properties in the UK - many of which are remote enough to let you social distance.
While the UK government still advises against non-essential travel, there are high hopes for a staycation in the country.
This means a trip to the coast or to the countryside may be possible with friends and families.
We've rounded up the best properties which are remote and have enough room for everyone.
With some starting from £16pp a night, here is where you should book - once the lockdown is over.
Lavender Barn, Somerset - £49pppn
The luxurious converted barn in Somerset sleeps up to 12 people, making it perfect for a family stay.
Along with six double bedrooms, there is also a private swimming pool, hot tub and games room.
Fancy going exploring? You can easily visit Exmoor National Park and Quantock Hills, both near the house.
A quiet pint at the nearby New Inn pub in Halse, just a five minute walk, is also recommended.
