Casualty spoilers: Jade crushed to learn Malc has moved on with wife and child – driving her to contact birth mother

Casualty fans will know that Jade was put into foster care by her birth mother at a young age and was pushed from pillar to post by the system.
Fearful of revisiting her past, Jade turned down an opportunity last year to get back in touch with her birth mother.
Next week’s episodes of Casualty will see Jade get a blast from the past when her ex-boyfriend Malc is brought into the ED after a wrestling catastrophe.
It soon becomes clear there’s still chemistry between the pair and that Jade still has feelings for her ex.
But when Malc asks Jade if she ever got in touch with her birth mum, Jade can’t cope and quickly changes the subject.
Marty notices the bond between Jade and Malc - who is deaf - when she signs for him during his treatment.
Marty later encourages Jade to think about rekindling what she once had with Malc.
But Jade’s dreams are crushed when Malc’s wife and baby visit the ED to check on him.
Later, Malc and Jade talk about her mother and Malc talks about his own bond with his child.
