EastEnders spoilers: Abusive Gray Atkins panics when he thinks wife Chantelle has left him
GRAY Atkins will be seen panicking in EastEnders next week when he fears his wife, Chantelle, has finally seen sense and left him.
Abusive Gray – who’s played by Toby-Alexander Smith in the BBC soap – fears the worst when he can’t get hold of Chantelle, unaware that her phone’s broken.
When her brother Keegan offers to fix it, Gray lies to get it back. What’s he up to?
Fans saw Gray return to Walford last night having been away on a course. And the evil woman-beater was up to his old tricks straight away when he sabotaged Chantelle’s celebration drinks.
Hairdresser Chantelle – Jessica Plummer – was celebrating passing her assessment with flying colours, but Gray arrived and deliberately spilled a drink over her certificate.
He was seen looking furious when Chantelle stood up to him as he tried to get her to come home with him.
Tonight’s episode will see Gray turn violent again, while Chantelle makes a horrifying discovery.
Gray was unveiled as a violent abuser back in July after he launched a brutal attack on Chantelle, leaving audiences stunned.
After taking part in a charity race, Gray was left embarrassed when he was beaten by his father-in-law Mitch Baker, but instead of laughing it off, he became enraged and accused Chantelle of laughing at his failure.
Demanding she go home with him, Chantelle was obviously frightened of what controlling Gray would do and no sooner as he ushered her through the door that he grabbed her and forcefully punched her.

He sneered at his crying wife as she collapsed to the floor in pain: "I told you not to laugh at me."
Later he tried to blame Chantelle for his own vile behaviour, telling her she was "playing the victim".
He told her: "You turning on me, making me feel like an outsider.
"I do everything for you Chan and you treat me like I'm nothing. Please don't act the victim, let's just put it behind us now, OK?"
