Tom Allen was born on June 14, 1983 in Bromley, Greater London.

When he was just 22, Tom won the UK's most prestigious comedy newcomer award So You Think You're Funny in 2005 - he also won the BBC New Comedy Awards in the same year.

The comic supported Sarah Millican on her sold out 2016 tour of Australia, New Zealand, and the UK.

Tom got his big break when he started hosting The Apprentice: You're Fired!.

In 2019, he admitted he has never had a partner.

Speaking to iNews Tom said: "I used to think that was a bit of a scandal in itself, an unusual thing.

"But I've met more and more people who are like that.

"There are people who find it very easy to get into relationships and I've always just not."

Tome explained further to The Guardian: "I, for one, have never been in love and so I feel, 'Oh, that's something else I can't join in with'.

"Because I've found it impossible to have a meaningful long-term relationship."
