What time is Emmerdale on tonight? New coronavirus TV schedule explained


EMMERDALE has been forced to reduce the amount of shows it airs.

What time is Emmerdale on tonight?

Emmerdale is on at 7pm tonight (March 30, 2020).

But things are set to change as the soap is reducing its shows from seven to three from today.

ITV revealed that filming for the show has been dramatically reduced due to the on-going pandemic.

They released this statement: “Following the announcement that filming of Coronation Street and Emmerdale will be suspended, ITV has taken the decision to reduce Emmerdale’s transmission pattern to three episodes per week from Monday 30 March."

What is the new Emmerdale schedule?

From now on (March 30, 2020) the soap will air on Monday, Wednesday and Friday - instead of its usual weekdays slot.

There will be just three episodes which will air as follows on ITV:

  • Monday 7pm
  • Wednesday 7pm
  • Friday 7pm

Has Coronation Street's schedule changed too?

Corrie is also downscaling its shows.

The same as Emmerdale, you can catch the show three times a week.

It will air Mondays, Wednesday and Fridays at 7.30pm, straight after Emmerdale.
