It came as VIPs from around the world flocked to the emotional ceremony for Mr
Mandela in Soweto, South Africa.

But Mr Obama’s wife Michelle didn’t look impressed — and was later seen
glaring at her husband as he chatted with Helle, 46, the daughter-in-law of
Labour’s Lord Kinnock.
Snaps of the President and PM’s selfie soon went viral, with some Twitter
users calling it “tasteless”.
Michael John said: “Am I the only one who finds it incredibly disrespectful
that Obama took a selfie at Mandela’s memorial service? Tasteless, trashy,
tactless.”
Another user said: “Yucking it up at a memorial service? Disgusting.”
Kay Burley, of Sky News, tweeted: “The most famous man in world can’t resist a
selfie even in rather inappropriate surroundings.”
