Who are Sue and Noel Radford?

Sue Radford became pregnant for the first time in 1989 at just 14 years old but was sure she wanted to keep the baby, her firstborn, Chris.

Sue married Noel four years later, and before long they were expecting their second child, Sophie.

A year after that, the Radfords learned they were expecting Chloe – and more babies have followed in quick succession ever since.

Noel underwent a vasectomy while Sue was pregnant with their ninth baby, but soon had the surgery reversed, so he went on to father many more children.

Sue has previously revealed that the family consumes a staggering 18 pints of milk, three litres of juice and three boxes of cereal at breakfast time — every single day.

The Radford family spends £250 a week at the supermarket and they have long outgrown their 15-seater minivan.

Sue works as a YouTube blogger and reality star, while dad Noel works as a baker.

The Radford family do not claim benefits and support themselves financially with their family-owned bakery and television work.

Noel and Sue also make money from social media brand partnerships and sponsorships.

Their successful Channel 5 television show, 22 Kids and Counting, has been running for several seasons.

The Radfords live in a ten-bed home, which they bought for £240,000 in 2004.

Sue and Noel have their work cut out at Christmas, and in the lead-up to the festive period in 2023, Sue shared her last-minute stress on Instagram:

She wrote: “So much to do before the kids break up from school on Friday.

“I’ve still got presents to buy and tonnes of wrapping to do."

Sue is also known to go all-out on presents for her brood, apparently shelling out over £7,000 every year.
