Outspoken impeachment foe Rep. Mark Meadows, the co-founder of the House Freedom Caucus, was concerned when the House Intelligence Committee opened its impeachment hearings.

Huddling with fellow Trump supporters in the House, he asked, “How are we going to compete with mainstream media when they are out there each and every day trying to form a narrative suggesting this president should be impeached?”

Then it hit him. Use social media to spread the GOP narrative. “I’ve got this one statistic,” the North Carolina Republican told a conservative group. “[Rep.] Jim Jordan and my Twitter feeds, just two members of Congress, with all of you retweeting, ended up having 163 million impressions over that five-day period, which is more than the viewership of all the networks combined,” he said. …
