Humid start to Fiesta 🎊, but a few changes & rain chances are on the way! Here's the timeline ~ Mia
WEATHER HEADLINES:
• Patchy morning fog, then a slightly cooler Friday
• Higher rain chances by Saturday evening through Saturday night
• Cooler-than-average start to next week
FORECAST DETAILS:
🎉 Viva Fiesta! 🎉
A few isolated storms capable of hail and strong winds have managed to develop north of our area tonight. We'll monitor to see if the activity can't clip parts of the Hill Country over the next few hours, but odds are low.
After some patchy morning fog, mostly cloudy skies are in store Friday with highs slightly cooler than today (upper 70s/near 80°) as a front gradually works into parts of the area. A few showers to a storm can't be ruled out late Friday night, especially farther south and west.
While some spotty drizzle will be possible early Saturday, better rain chances arrive by evening and even more so by Saturday night. By the time all is said and done, pockets of 1"+ inches of rain can't be ruled out, especially across portions of the Hill Country. Not everyone will see those totals, but times of heavy rain will be possible before we dry things out into Sunday.
After that, lower humidity & cooler than average temperatures move in Sunday and continue into Monday.
We'll keep you posted on any updates! Until then -- have a great night and Viva Fiesta! ~ Mia
