☔️ Saturday afternoon into Saturday night is the window for best rain chances.
FORECAST:
Good morning and viva! A cloudy morning will give way to a partly cloudy afternoon. With more sun today than the previous days, expect warmer weather. Highs may reach to near 90, with high humidity. Heat index values (yes, we have to mention that) will be in the low-90s.
By the afternoon, a dryline will kick off isolated storms across the Hill Country. While most of this activity will stay north and west of San Antonio, a few of the storms could work in our direction during the evening and nighttime hours, before dying down. Any storm that develops today will have the potential to become strong to severe. Hail and gusty winds will be the main threats.
Friday, a front will slowly seep into the area. This will cool us down and generate more cloud cover. It may also help to create some shower activity. In general, Friday's rain chances remain low.
Saturday starts off cloudy, with some mist and drizzle possible. It'll take until the afternoon hours for better rain chances to arrive. Showers and a few storms will be possible Then, our best odds of rain kicks in after sunset. Some pockets of heavy rainfall will be possible, however, widespread flooding is not expected. A strong storm or two, as well, cannot be ruled out. Any rain will exit the area by Sunday morning, leaving behind cooler weather.
Have a great day!
