Come May 19, Everything, Everything will join the ever-widening cinematic pantheon romance films about tragically ill or isolated teens. Starring The Hunger Games’ Amandla Stenberg and based on the Nicola Yoon novel of the same name, Everything, Everything tells the story of 18-year-old Maddy Whittier who, due to a severely compromised immune system, is unable to experience the world outside her home. Fortunately the world is happy to come to her, in the form of the boy next door. As the trailer suggests, there are worse things that could come between a couple than the ever-present specter of death. For example, one of them could live on Mars.
