Jason Momoa is lining up his post-Aquaman work.
A month after exiting the Crow reboot, the Game of Thrones grad has been tapped to star in Apple‘s drama series See.
See is described as an epic, world-building drama set in the future. Momoa will star in a lead role as Baba Voss, who is a fearless warrior, leader and guardian. Additional details about the 10-episode project are being kept under wraps.

Written by Oscar nominee Steven Knight (Dirty Pretty Things, Peaky Blinders), Francis Lawrence (The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, Red Sparrow) will direct the series. Knight and Lawrence will executive produce the Chernin Entertainment/Endeavor Content effort alongside the company’s Peter Chernin, Jenno Topping and Kristen Campo.
See marks Momoa’s return to series regular television following roles in The Red Road, Netflix’s Frontier and Game of Thrones, in which he memorably starred as Khal Drogo in the hit show’s first season. His small-screen credits include North Shore, Baywatch: Hawaii and Stargate Atlantis. On the feature side, the actor will next star in the title role in DC Comics’ Justice League spinoff Aquaman, which is set to bow Dec. 21. Momoa is repped by WME.
For Apple, Momoa’s casting comes as yet another sign that the iPhone maker is willing to spend on top talent for its roster of high-profile programming. Still to be determined is how — or when — that content will be released.
