Victoria Beckham Is Being A Spice Stick In The Mud About The Spice Girls Reunion

In today’s episode of As The Spices Sit, we get yet another update on what might possibly be in store for that Spice Girls reunion, and as for concrete plans, it’s a bit, ah…Bueller? Bueller? Mel C tells The Sun that Victoria Beckham was telling the truth when she said that there isn’t going to be a Spice Girls reunion tour, contrary to what TMZ keeps saying.

Mel C said that there’s no plans for new music or a tour because it wouldn’t work unless they all signed on:

“Victoria has been quite vocal, it’s really not something she wants to do at this time. I think it has to be all five, so it’s tricky. It’s very early stages, we’re not talking about new music or going out on the road together at this time. It was just getting together to reignite all the things that we have had together and to work with Simon [Fuller].”

Things seemed to be kicking into high gear for a full-fledged reunion despite Posh’s insistence that there would be no catsuits or singing in her future (*cough* like those were ever in her past, either! *cough*). Mel B sent shit into overdrive when she implied the gals would be performing at Prince Harry’s and Meghan Markle’s upcoming wedding, but Sports says Scary was speaking out of her ass because she’s still waiting on her invitation:

“I’ve met Prince Charles lots of times. I’m going to ask him where my invite is because I haven’t got mine yet, obviously Mel B said she has hers. I think Mel was just kind of having a bit of a joke. There are no plans to go to the wedding at the moment.”

Hmm! Maybe Elton John is tampering with their mail. If he’s not going, none of the spice rack is going, either! Sporty says she’ll go on a solo tour of her own later this year, but as for Girl Power, the only way we’re going to see any of that this year is if all five of them sign on…can we please just revisit the idea of throwing a black Gucci dress on a mop and having it stand in for Posh??
