DAYS GONE Has Been Delayed To 2019

https://www.playstation.com/en-us/games/days-gone-ps4/ Days Gone is an open-world action game set in the beautiful, high-desert of the Pacific Northwest two years after a pandemic has transformed the world. At this year's PlayStation Media Showcase, we've unveiled a new gameplay demo that offers a more intimate glimpse into Deacon's life as a mercenary in a world where almost everything wants to kill him.

Sony's highly anticipated zombie game, Days Gone, has been delayed. Originally scheduled for a release this year, Sony revealed that the launch will now be in 2019. In a statement given to GameSpot, Sony confirmed the delay but did not give any information on why Days Gone will be released at a later date.

“We can confirm that Days Gone will now be releasing in 2019 and we will keep you updated on the launch date.”

Days Gone was initially announced at E3 2016. The game is being developed by Bend Studio, which is owned by Sony, and is famous for developing games such as the Syphon Filter series, and Uncharted: Golden Abyss on the PS Vita. It revolves around Deacon St. John, a former bounty hunter, as he fights his way through the undead. Although the game’s creators have insisted that enemies are not zombies in a traditional sense, but instead, they are infected humans called Freakers. Shuhei Yoshida, president of Sony Worldwide Studio, previously said that the game would launch sometime this year, but did not specify at what point in 2018 the game would be released, so it’s not really a surprise that the game has been delayed at a later date. Furthermore, it has been a while since we saw any update regarding the upcoming zombie game, besides a couple of gameplay demos, which were released back in 2017.

Days Gone will be released in 2019 exclusively on the PS4. What features would you like to see on the upcoming zombie game? Share your thoughts in the comments below.
