After adjusting encoder steps properly for my test display, 100 is not needed. But I'll personally be using 50, as 1 is painfully slow, and increments under 0.02mm seem downright pointless. Just my personal opinion!
It would be better to be able to set the babystep distance in mm, since the distance corresponding to a step varies so widely.
