If you want to be a star for Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), you have to win your fights in entertaining fashion, all while leaving an impression on company president Dana White.

Francis Ngannou has done that, and then some. As a result, "The Predator" is on his way to becoming a global rockstar.

“We’ve had some trouble getting him a fight,” said White during the post-fight presser via MMA Fighting. "But once we keep this guy active and you see him doing this to all the big stars that you know and yeah, I think this guy’s going to be a rock star globally."

Ngannou's latest display of power came at the expense of Alistair Overeem as "The Predator" laid him clean out with an "uppercut from hell" at UFC 218, giving Francis his tenth straight win, six inside the Octagon.

Aside from having world class power, Ngannou simply has the look of true heavyweight ripped right out of a superhero comic book.

“The guy, first of all, when you look at him, he looks like the heavyweight champion of the world,” White said. “I mean, he looks like the heavyweight champion of something. The guy is a monster," he added.

And though the knockout didn't nab a $50,000 bonus in a night filled with non-stop and violent action, it did earn the Cameroon-born fighter a shot at the heavyweight title against Stipe Miocic.

“He looked incredible tonight. Wow,” White said. “That’s as impressive a heavyweight knockout as you’ll ever see.”
