Veteran actor Val Kilmer once again walked through the streets of Tombstone, the town which was the setting of one of his most memorable films.
Kilmer visited the Old West town on Saturday for an event to celebrate the life of Doc Holliday, the legendary gunfighter whom the 57-year-old star portrayed in the 1993 movie 'Tombstone'.

"Ladies and gentlemen might I please introduce one of the stars if not the star, period of our favourite movie and the object of our inaugural Doc Holli-Days, Val Kilmer," the public address announcer said as fans cheered and snapped up pictures.

Kilmer will also attend Holliday's birthday party on August 14.
The film, starring Kilmer, Kurt Russell and Sam Elliot, was based on events in Tombstone, Arizona, including the Gunfight at the O K Corral and the Earp Vendetta Ride, during the 1880s.
