When it comes to conservative commentators throwing shade at black people, one would be better advised to hire Bill Cosby as a bartender than to insult a woman of color around Angela Rye. So when she heard that Tomi Lahren tried to come for Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.), the political analyst quickly let the mother-of-all-Beckies know that she wasn’t here for it.
On Wednesday night, at an event that helps elect Democratic women who support women’s right to choose, Waters called Donald Trump a “disgusting, poor excuse of a man,” according to The Hill.
“We must take our anger, our pain, our collective strength to right this wrong, to resist this tyranny and to save our democracy from a man whose immoral character and distorted thinking are an imminent threat to our nation,” Waters said during the EMILY’s List gala.
The quote apparently ruffled Lahren’s feathers, so the vulture—who has a lot of time on her hands since being fired from TheBlaze—couldn’t resist going on Twitter to insert herself into the fray by insulting the 78-year old political icon.
Of course, we all know what happens when anyone comes for Auntie Maxine. Black Twitter immediately sounded the emergency alert signal and let the brainless blonde know who not to mess with:
