My 2nd Trip to the West Indies in February 2020 In February this year i went on a Trip to the Island Of Jamaica I will be Returning Again in February 2020 I will be again operating from the QTH of 6Y5NZ It is was hoped that by the Time i Arrived last time a Newly Installed wind up mast would be ready but this was not the case due to water supply issues for the Concrete base. The Mast was installed (just) by the time of my Departure last Visit, but there was no time to Construct, Tune and install the New XR5 Yagi. Instead my Trusty portable Travel mast and 3 band Hopper antennas for which i have 2 to cover most of the bands were pressed into service and proved to be a life saver. I am pleased to announce that Significant progress has been made since then with ground works around the base of the mast and this is now ready for the install of the XR5 Upon my Arival in February. Again my Dipoles and a new Vertical Antenna to cover all HF Bands will be Pressed into Service so i can be on the air as soon as i Arrive (or at least after a night's sleep). The Plan is to be Active on Most days but Times of Operation and Bands in use will very much Depend on the Propagation conditions and other activities (after all it is a holiday as well) I would be happy to try and work anyone if they so wish, I will notify when i am on and what band/Frequency this will be Via my QRZ page linked to HRD which worked very well last time, But Please note the internet connection is not 100% Reliable all the time. The call sign in use will again Be 6Y/G0RNU and i should be active very soon after the 4th of February until around the 17th. if you could publish this on the DX-News site please and I have attached a View from the Near the QTH . many thanks Neil G0RNU
